The Magnetic Materials and Spintronic Devices Group at Universitat Jaume I (SPINAD LAB) is seeking candidates for applying a postdoctoral research grant from the Generalitat Valenciana (APOSTD) to carry out a 2-year postdoc in the field of magnetic materials (for more information see: DOGV Official Call).
This grant is intended for PhD researchers who obtained their doctoral degree at a university outside the Valencian Community and wish to carry out a research project at a center within the Valencian Community. The estimated application date will be November 2025, with an expected start date between September and October 2026.
The eligibility requirements are to have obtained the PhD after January 1, 2021, or an expected date to obtain the doctoral degree at the time of application.
Applicants should hold a PhD in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, or Materials Science, in line with the research topics of the group. The group is actively involved in national and international projects in the field of magnetic materials and spintronic devices, particularly in: high-speed, high-density RAM-type memories (operating in the picosecond range), Spin waves for computation systems not based on electrical charges (e.g., Reservoir Computing systems), exploration of new physical phenomena in ferrimagnetic materials.
