Post doc positions. Deadline: 17/04/2023
Research Group Energy and Advanced Materials
The main focus of the team is the investigation and modeling of fundamental mechanisms
governing the operation of several electronic materials and devices. The team combines
experimental investigation and theoretical/numerical tools to develop insights into the electronic
processes, joining novel theory of semiconductor nanostructures, photoelectrochemistry, and
systematic experimental demonstration.
The contracted person will work on a project where halide perovskite materials will be integrated
into memory devices in event driven neuromorphic computation. The researcher will design the
neuromorphic scheme in combination with optical systems and will electrically characterize the
system.
Eligibility criteria (mandatory)
- PhD in: Materials science, Electric Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Chemical Engineering, or
related fields.
Technical Requirements
- Knowledge in electrical and optical characterization of devices.

- Knowledge in setup design for user designed electrical measurements (i.e. combine voltage-
current sources, synchronize optical and electrical signals or program a train of measurements,
use of a multiplexer,...).
-Knowledge on electrical signal conditioning and treatment.
- Knowledge in programming to enable user design electrical measurements (i.e. Labview or
other software to control the electrical equipment)

General skills:
- Strongly motivated to develop a scientific research career.
- Excellent academic results.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Intermediate/Proficiency in English language, written and spoken.
