
Dr. Nishant Singh (36y) has been awarded with prestigious 2025 Young Investigator Prize - “Group Leader” category by the Spanish Royal Society of Chemistry (RSEQ). He is a GenT distinguished researcher at Institute of Advanced Materials (INAM), Universitat Jaume I, Spain. This award recognizes ground breaking advances of emerging research leaders in the field of chemistry. The felicitation ceremony will take place in Valencia in November at the JIQ-RSEQ seminar of the Young Scientist in Chemistry group (JIQ- Jóvenes Investigadores Químicos). Dr Nishant expresses his heartfelt thanks to the jury committee, RSEQ Governing Board, and his group for this recognition.
His research lab- DyMSaS focused on creating Dynamic Life-like Systems such as Synthetic cells made of chemical components. His research group is supported by Spanish Ministry of Science, Innovation and University, Generalitat Valenciana and Universitat Jaume I. His career trajectory includes prestigious awards at Master (Academic Excellence Award at IISER Pune, India), Doctoral (Extraordinary Doctoral Thesis Award with Pr. Bea Escuder) and Post-doctoral levels (Marie-Curie Individual Fellowship at ISIS Strasbourg).
