Scientists from INAM at the Universitat Jaume I have been included in the 'Single Year Impact' category of the list recognizing the 'Top 2%' of authors with the greatest global impact.

INAM celebrates a significant milestone in its research career. Eight of its researchers have been recognized and included in the influential Elsevier-Scopus Ranking in collaboration with Stanford University, which identifies the 'Top 2%' of the world's most cited scientists.
This important list, which is compiled and published annually, has become a key reference for measuring the impact and quality of global scientific production. The ranking establishes two main categories to evaluate authors: the impact of their publications throughout their entire career (Career) and the impact limited to the previous year (Single Year Impact).
In this edition, a total of eight INAM researchers from the UJI have stood out by being included in the Single Year Impact category, which underscores the excellence and relevance of the research published during the last year.
The researchers are: Iván Mora-Seró, Eduardo Peris Fajarnés, Germà Garcia Belmonte, Antonio Guerrero Castillejo, Maria Rosario Vidal Nadal, Marcileia Zanatta, Francisco Fabregat Santiago, and Victor Sans Sangorrin.
For the preparation of this ranking, researchers are distributed across 22 different scientific fields. The selection of the top 2% in each field is made through a rigorous analysis that considers standardized information on the citations received by the articles, the number of authors for each publication, and the position of each signatory in the authorship.
This recognition of the eight INAM scientists highlights the quality and international projection of the research carried out at the UJI, consolidating the Institute's position as a reference center in the field of advanced materials worldwide.
