On May 4th Ramón Arcas Martínez defended his Phd thesis entitled “Development and Characterization of Electro- and Photo-Electrochemical Systems for High-Added-Value Products". His work was supervised by Prof. Francisco Fabregat Santiago as well as Dr. Elena Mas and got the qualification of Excellent Cum laude. The evaluation committee was formed by Dr. Josep Albero, Instituto de Tecnologia Quimica (ITQ) de la UPV, Dr. Ernest Pastor, Instituto de Física de Rennes (CNRS, Francia) and Eva Maria Barea fro INAM.
