Rivin George has received the Best Poster in Science Award for his poster presentation titled “Toward Glucose-to-Glucaric Acid via Selective Electrochemical Oxidation”, presented during the Open Doctoral Days 2026, organised by the Doctoral School of Universitat Jaume I.
The award recognises the quality and scientific contribution of his research work, focused on the selective electrochemical oxidation of glucose to glucaric acid, a process of interest in the development of more sustainable chemical pathways.
The Open Doctoral Days provide doctoral researchers with an opportunity to present their work, exchange ideas with the academic community and strengthen the visibility of research carried out at Universitat Jaume I.
The event was held on 4 and 5 May 2026 at Universitat Jaume I and was sponsored by the Fundació Balaguer Gonel Hermanos.
The work presented in this poster is under the framework of STECH project, funded by the Generalitat Valenciana PROMETEO 2024 program (CIPROM/2023/57).
