Summary/Abstract: 
The project aims to create unique hierarchical three dimensional assemblies of organic nanoparticles using bottom-up self-assembly. It aims to make these systems light and chemical responsive in order to create advanced materials with emergent mechanical, reactive and photonic properties. The project aims to take colloidal assemblies into regime to completely organic structures beyond traditional metallic nanoparticles systems.
