Abstract:
This thesis addresses challenges through three key studies that explore advancements in tin-based perovskite materials for solar cells and light-emitting devices. The first study presents a novel approach to enhance the stability of tin-based halide perovskite (Sn-HP) solar cells by incorporating Dipropylammonium iodide (DipI) and sodium borohydride (NaBH4) as additives. This strategy significantly mitigates the oxidation of Sn+2 into Sn+4, achieving a power conversion efficiency (PCE) exceeding 10% and demonstrating remarkable long-term stability with minimal degradation over 1,300 hours at maximum power point (MPP) in an inert atmosphere.
