INAM has opened a selection process for Research administration position.
Object of the contract:
Collaborate in the projects assigned to the research group: INAM (Institute of Advanced Materials), with roles of technologist or senior manager.
Task to develop:
Collaborate in the management of projects assigned to INAM and among its functions stand out:
- Will manage scientific projects: budget, purchases, monitoring of results, justification of projects.
- Tasks for organizing the scientific activities of the group: organization of meetings, management of the research team, publications, recruitment, travel and all those necessary for the scientific progress of the IP and the group.
- Participate in support tasks for the group's scientific research, control of activities in the laboratories, equipment purchases, etc.
- Assistance and support for management activities, travel and administrative tasks of the IP, and dissemination of the project.
The duration of the contracts derived from the use of this exchange is linked to the duration of the projects and their budgetary availability.
Qualifications:
Be in possession of a university degree in the branch of knowledge of the Sciences,Engineering, Economics, Administration or equivalent.
Skills/Qualifications:
• REQUIRED EDUCATION LEVEL: Bachelor Degree in branch of science, engineering, economics or administration
Experience in scientific research on topics related to the profile of the position.
Experience in scientific management:
1) Management of scientific projects: budget, purchases of consumibles and equipment, etc
2) Monitoring of results and justification of projects
3) Tasks for organizing scientific activities: organization of meetings, management of research teams, publications, recruitment, travel, etc
Specific Requirements:
• REQUIRED LANGUAGES:
ENGLISH: Excellent
SPANISH: Excellent
• Excellent professional oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• A flair for detail.
• A desire and aptitude for collaborative working across project teams.
• The ability to respond to conflicting deadlines, work independently and self-manage your time.
• Other languages: Catalan (excellent or good oral and writing skills)
