This is project administrator role: working closely with the Principal Investigator, Dr. Iván Mora Seró (Universitat Jaume I – Institute of Advanced Materials - INAM), and with the ERC (European Research Council – project’s funder), the post holder will be responsible for the daily operational, administrative and financial support for the project.

The objective of the project is obtaining a photoelectrochemical device for the direct conversion of water and CO2 into fuels and chemicals (CO2 reduction) and oxygen (water oxidation) using exclusively solar energy.

The post is available as part of the No-LIMIT European Research Council Consolidator Grant project. The objective of the project is boosting photovoltaic performance by the synergistic interaction of halide perovskites and semiconductor quantum dots. Photovoltaic conversion has the extraordinary property of transforming the solar energy directly into electric power. However, the available electrical power is known to be severely limited by the so-called Shockley-Queisser (SQ) photoconversion limit.
