Bio and research interests
Cristiane Kalinke (Research ID: AAM-6262-2020) graduated in Chemistry at the Federal University of Technology – Paraná (UTFPR, Brazil), with a master's degree (2015) and a Ph.D. (2019) in Analytical Chemistry from the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR, Brazil). She made research stays at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, Spain (2017-2018) and the Manchester Metropolitan University, United Kingdom (2022-2023). She received various awards, including the best Capes Thesis in Chemistry (2020), and the top 2% cited scientists in the world (2023). She published 47 papers (1840 citations, h-index = 23), 2 book chapters, 4 cover pages, and 2 patents. Her research interests include synthesizing and characterizing carbon-based materials and developing 3D-printed electrochemical sensors and biosensors using renewable materials for environmental, food, and biological applications.
