Bio and research interests
Jenifer Rubio Magnieto (Researcher ID: C J-3334-2017) graduated in Chemistry in 2006 in the Universitat Jaume I of Castelló. She received her Ph.D. degree in 2011 in the Universitat Jaume I, under the supervision of Prof. Santiago V. Luis Lafuente in the field of Supramolecular Chemistry. In 2012 she joined the Laboratory for Chemistry of Novel Materials (CMN) of Prof. R. Lazzaroni at the University of Mons (UMons), Belgium (Post-doctoral fellow 2012/2014) and she was awarded as a Post-doctoral researcher by the Fonds de la Recherche Scientifique-FNRS (2014-2017) to develop her own project (“Chirality in Nucleic Acid-templated Supramolecular Polymers, CHIRNATES”) at the UMons. In June 2017 she joined the group of Prof. B. Escuder (“Bioinspired Supramolecular Chemistry and Materials group”) at UJI to develop functional supramolecular materials based on low molecular weight peptides and peptoid analogues for their application in regenerative medicine. In January 2022, she started to work as a technician in the Scientific Instrumentation Central Service. Since October 2023 she is working as a project administration in the Juan Bisquert’s group at UJI. She published 33 papers in research journals. She has 619 citations and h-index 15.
