Luis Lanzetta

Bio and research interests
Dr. Luis Lanzetta is a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellow at the Group of Advanced Semiconductors. He completed a PhD in Chemistry at Imperial College London (UK; 2020), developing tin-based perovskites for photovoltaic and light-emitting applications. Before joining INAM-UJI, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow at KAUST (Saudi Arabia), where he designed molecular doping and stabilisation approaches for tin-lead perovskite solar cells. His expertise lies in the chemical degradation and stabilisation mechanisms of halide perovskite solar cells, with the goal of developing more efficient and stable technologies. His research interests include narrow-bandgap perovskite and all-perovskite tandem solar cells, functional self-assembled monolayers for solar cell fabrication, and the spectroscopic and surface characterisation of energy-harvesting materials. To date, his work has been recognised with two research fellowship awards ('Fundación Iberdrola' Fellowship for Master's studies & Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship), a PhD research prize ('Doctoral Research Awards', ranked 12th in a UK-wide competition), his selection for participation in the 71st Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting (2022), and several conference prizes.
