Bio and research interests
Sudeep hail from the southern tropical state of India, Kerala. Sudeep completed his Bachelor's and Master's degrees from the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Kolkata with a major in Chemical Sciences in 2021. He was trained under the supervision of Prof. Subhajit Bandyopadhyay @ Light Lab, IISER Kolkata for his Master's thesis on “Machine learning analysis of spectral outputs for the detection of biologically relevant analytes.” After his graduation, he continued at Light Lab for more than a year as a project assistant and learned more about stimuli-responsive materials such as photoswitches and stable organic radicals. He was awarded a Ph.D. fellowship through CIDEGENT GRANT in 2023 and he would like to utilize this opportunity to explore and learn more about supramolecular assemblies, coacervates, and non-equilibrium systems.
