On behalf of the organizing committee, we have the pleasure to invite you to join us at the upcoming 8th Latin American Symposium on Coordination and Organometallic Chemistry (8° SIMPOSIO LATINOAMERICANO DE QUIMICA DE COORDINACIÓN Y ORGANOMETÁLICA – SILQCOM8) to be held ONLINE on March 10-11th, 2022. Since the first edition in Bogotá in 2007, this symposium has been held biannually in Latin America and displays an international profile. The relaxed atmosphere and the pleasant venue of the meeting favor the exchange of information and ideas for potential research collaborations. Unfortunately, due to the current pandemic situation this 8th SILQCOM meeting will be online. As in previous editions, the 8th Latin American Symposium on Coordination and Organometallic Chemistry will cover areas like synthesis and applications of coordination and organometallic complexes, bioinorganic chemistry, catalysis, and organic and inorganic materials (eg, nanoparticles, MOF's, coordination polymers, etc).
