We are looking for candidates for a new recruitment in a PROMETEO Grant financed by Generalitat Valenciana and the the researcher responsible of the project is Dr. Iván Mora Seró. These two contracts will be for a year, but they can renewed until three years and the aim is to do the doctoral thesis in our Institute.
The requirements of candidates are:
a) Have the Spanish nationality, be national of one been member of the European Union or be foreign with authorisation or permission of residence or of stay for studies in Spain, if that is the case. In European Union or be foreign with authorisation or permission of residence or of stay for studies in Spain, if that is the case.
b) Be in possession of a title expedited for a Spanish or foreign university, degree in, architecture, engineering, technical architecture, technical engineering or diploma in Chemical, Physical, Chemical Engineering, Engineering of Material or similar with data lather than 1st of January 2014. In the case of homologate titles, we will take into account the date of obtaining the title, no the date of homologation.
c) Be admitted in a program of doctorate in a university of the Valencian Community. This requirement is not mandatory, just to meet the requirements to be able to enrol in a doctorate program which means that it needs to have a master's degree.
d) To certify a minimum average note in his academic record of degree, architecture, engineering, technical architecture, technical engineering or diploma that for branch of knowledge will be the following:
– Engineering and Architecture: 7, 45
– Sciences: 7, 80
e) Not being in possession of the title of doctor prior to the start date of the grant of the help.
f) May not be applicants or access the recruitment subsidized people who have enjoyed a pre-doctoral aid for a period longer than twelve months.

PhD. Student 1:
The Ph.D. student 1 will develop an experimental work. Experience in the next filed will be positively evaluated:

• Synthesis of materials (especially colloidal semiconductor quantum dots).
• Experience in thin film deposition by different techniques (especially evaporation).
• Fabrication of optoelectronic devices (specially on solution deposition methods).
PhD. Student 2:
The Ph.D. student 2 will develop an theoretical/experimental work. Experience in the next filed will be positively evaluated:
• Experience in electrooptical characterization of optoelectronic devices especially on impedance spectroscopy.
• Experience in optical characterization of films (absorption, photoluminescence, time resolved photoluminescence, transient photocurrent and photovoltage decay, photothermal deflection spectroscopy...).
• Experience in structural characterization of thin films (XRD, SEM, EDX, AFM, KPFM...).
• Experience in the theoretic analysis of light generation, charge transport and recombination, continuity equation, drift-diffusion phenomena.

General skills and characteristics for both predocs are:
• Strongly motivated to develop a scientific research career.
• Excellent results obtained during the degree and master studies.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Fluent in English.

The documents to be submitted are:
a) Copy of the title of graduate, architect, engineer, degree, technical architect, technical engineer or diploma. In the case of foreign titles, translation sworn of these.
b) Certified of the academic file of the title of graduate, architect, engineer, degree, technical architect, technical engineer or diploma, issued by the secretary of the centre in which feature all the subjects surpassed with the corresponding credits, the qualifications obtained and the average note on the base of 10. If this qualification has been reached through more than one consecutive degree of different level, the academic record of each of the qualifications will be presented

d) Certificate of Master degree or meet the requirements to be acredited that you can be admitted in a doctoral programme
e) Authorisation or permission of residence, or of stay for studies in Spain, if applicable.
