A short-term (3 months) technician position is available in the group of Dr. Iván Mora-Seró at the Institute of Advanced Materials (INAM; www.inam.uji.es), part of the Universitat Jaume I in the framework of the European FET Open project “Drop-IT”.
The post is available as part of the Drop-IT project, with Full Prof. Iván Mora-Seró as Principal Investigator. The objective of the project is to undertake experimental work related to the formulation, analyses of Pb-free perovskite-based inks for inkjet printing applications. The tasks will include the formulation of polymerisable inks containing perovskite-based materials. The project aims to develop highly stable, controllable and scalable thin layers based on lead-free perovskite materials for applications in optoelectronics, solar cells and LEDs.
The technician needs to have experience in development of polymeric materials, perovskites, formulation, rheological characterization, inkjet printing and material characterization by microscopy, thermogravimetric and other relevant techniques. We encourage applications from technicians with skills directly relevant to the synthesis, formulation and characterization of these materials and their controlled deposition by inkjet printing. Applications will be accepted in English or Spanish languages.

- Skills/Qualifications
Applicants must have a degree in Chemistry, Physics or Materials Engineering in a relevant subject area.

• Experience in inkjet printing
• Experience in general laboratory maintenance

The technician will work closely together with Postdocs and PhD students and the rest of group members, will take part in discussions to agree targets for their work, and will undertake
daily laboratory activities agreed with Full Prof. Mora-Seró and Dr Victor Sans Sangorrin

* Benefits
The candidate shall be appointed with a full-time (37.5 hours/week) employment contract for 3 months, according to the Spanish legislation and covered under the Spanish social security scheme. Salary will be aprox. 1250 €/month brutto.
The estimated start date is 1st of March 2022, but could vary depending of the selection process or visa process.
