Summary/Abstract:
CIDEGENT grant PRONESS is aimed to create chemically fueled non-equilibrium reaction cycles for programmable (dis)assembly of non-covalent structures. The project draws inspiration from biologically occuring systems such as actin filaments and microtubules which can use chemical fuels to assemble and disassemble and perform their functions like cell division with utmost precision.
