The Institute of Advanced Material (INAM) is a host institution for Marie Skolodowska-Curie fellows (call MSCA PF 2021). By joining INAM, the candidate will be working in one of the Strategic Lines of INAM. Besides, candidates will be in contact with front-line science and technology, as well as have the opportunity to conduct research at the forefront of science in a multidisciplinary and international working atmosphere. INAM will also ensure access to state-of-the-art equipment and highly specialized scientific personnel.

Project: Advanced materials based on poliaromatic ligands

The main objective of the project is the preparation of polyaromatic-decorated N-heterocyclic carbene ligands specifically designed to coordinate in a bis-pincer fashion. Their coordination to late transition metals will afford the preparation of robust complexes with potential catalytic and photophysical properties. The host-guest affinities of the polyaromatic salts towards anions will also be assessed. Therefore, the student is going to be trained in a highly multidisciplinary environment.

Project: Design of catalysts for efficient hydrogen storage in the form of organic liquids.

Supervisor: Jose A. Mata
The purpose of this call is to grant scholarships for the training of research personnel (from countries not belonging to the European Union) at the Institute of Advanced Materials, Universitat Jaume I, Castelló, Spain (www.inam.uji.es).

Project: Synthesis of High Value Products from Renewable Electricity (SILVER)

Project: Lanthanide-doped Metal Halide Perovskites for Advanced Optoelectronic Devices

We are looking for highly motivated and creative PhD researcher in the group of Dr. Iván Mora-Seró at the Institute of Advanced Materials (INAM; www.inam.uji.es) at the Universidad de Jaume I in the framework of the European ERC Consolidator Grant project "No-Limit" and POLYMAT (San Sebastian, Spain) to conduct research in Organic Polymers for Optoelectronic Devices.
Main tasks of the position will be:
• Synthesis and characterization of Monomers and Polymers. Structural characterization.

A Postdoctoral Fellowship is available in the group of Dr. Iván Mora-Seró at the Institute of Advanced Materials (INAM; www.inam.uji.es) at the Universidad de Jaume I in the framework of the European ERC Consolidator Grant project "No-Limit".

The post is available as part of the SUN2CHEM project funded by the European Commission (H2020 Program). The objective of the project is obtaining a tandem photoelectrochemical device for the direct conversion of water and CO2 into ethylene using exclusively solar energy. The role of the INAM-UJI team is mainly related to the preparation, characterization and optimization of the photoanode of the cell, based on BiVO4.
